turntables costco
How long is the average MICROWAVE supposed to last ? Mine is “WELBILT”, bought about 15 yrs ago at Costco.
It still works pretty well, but recently the turntable has been acting “erratically”, sometimes working , sometimes not ! Another microwave (a DAEWOO) I got a few years ago lasted maybe 4 years, then we just threw it out. Granted (I can’t recall), it might have been damaged in a power surge, but I can’t remember.
Anyway, is there an “average lifespan” for a microwave ?
Depends upons brand, or features, or what ?
I’ll be the first to tell you that one wont last long after your kids put hot dogs to cook for 30 min inside the wrapper. 
Sorry I don’t know a TRUE answer. 15 years is a VERY long time.
